Intro to Websites (Beginner/Intermediate)
Attendees will be introduced to a variety of platforms to create websites for different purposes. Wakelet will be used for elementary research projects. Participants will dive into creating a simple Google Site where students can link to curriculum.

Primary Grades Student Engagement via Learning Management Systems (Intermediate/Advanced)
This session will show teachers how to dig deeper into using digital portfolios for creativity and amplifying student voice. Attendees will learn how to create their own lessons using the icons, edit and save lessons, share lessons with other teachers and walk through the new features. A comparison will be made with alternative LMSs for littles.

Mastering the Master Slide (Intermediate)
This session includes a thorough walkthrough of the steps to edit a slide master to personalize a slide deck to a particular audience, topic, or subject area. Attendees will learn how to insert slide backgrounds for use in lessons for any grade utilizing manipulatives for Math, ELA, World Language lessons and more. Downloadable Microsoft & Google interactive slide templates will be shared.

This session will focus on how to use learning management system to manage your class, distribute & collect assignments, and most importantly ease your workflow! Curating Content for the Classroom (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)
Learn to use a content curation platform where teachers and students can save links, social media posts, videos, and images as items to later be organized into private or public collections. Users can add notes to each Item in order to tell a story, ask questions, or give directions. Excellent tool for basic curation, or as an opportunity for students to post responses to content area subject matter using texts and pictures.

Enhancing Instruction with Collaborative Whiteboarding (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced)
Learn how to use a collaborative white board to enhance student learning using technology. Create custom templates on which students can respond. Students can annotate text to highlight specific ideas, doodle on math problems to show understanding of the steps to follow, use sticky notes to write sentences or responses to literature, and more. In a collaborative board, students can see each other’s responses, which is fun, and also allows those who might struggle to see models of appropriate responses.

This session is designed for someone new to using an online graphing calculator in Grades 5-8. During the session participants will have the opportunity to see many of the functions available and how they may incorporate this tool and its functions into their Middle and Upper Grades Math Class. Participants will also have the opportunity to create a simple art project using the graphing calculator. Multiple resources will be shared that highlight what can be accomplished when adding this tool to their program.
